One girl, One dream...

My Name is Nicky Nieves, owner, founder, and creator, of Limitless People Inc. and I am passionate about this sport. This sport has opened countless doors of opportunity for me, helped me gain self confidence as a limb different individual, and has helped those around me.

Plain and simple, I love volleyball. I love the chance to travel and play, meet new people, and compete with the greatest sitting volleyball team in the world. I have a Gold medal from the 2016 Rio Paralympic games, and currently still training and competing for more medals in the future. I've played on the college level as well, but nothing will ever compare to the joy I receive playing in an arena full of cheering USA fans.

This dream started a few years ago without ever realizing what it was. I was given the opportunity to work with limb different children just like myself, whilst giving them tips on what worked for me in the able bodied world. Some years later, I was blessed with the opportunity of holding a clinic in an impoverished town in Navarrete, Dominican Republic, and exposed the kids in that area to the game of volleyball. With more numerous opportunities that I've had coaching this sport both sitting and standing, to limb different and able bodied individuals, children and adults, even our military, it dawned on me that not everyone is as privileged as I am. Not everyone has the opportunity, or the resources to go out and learn a new sport. Not everyone has the opportunity to build friendships with like minded, or "like limbed" individuals as I have been; Thus the idea of a non profit aimed to provide volleyball opportunities was born.

With all of that being said, as a firm believer in Jesus, I feel the need and want to create a life where I can share with others what has blessed my life immensely, volleyball. I want to share with others an opportunity that they might not ever have.

If I can impact just one life, give at least one individual a good time, a little confidence in the sport and in self, and a memory to last a life time, I know I am fulfilling my purpose.
